"Kilim Cuval Gaziantep - Anatolia. Circa 1880. 130 X 108 Cm"
Very pretty Cuval (open) from Gaziantep in Southeastern Anatolia. True works of art, Cuval are actually used for the transport and storage of cereals. Everyday objects, their refinement has always amazed me... Woven and embroidered wool on wool in the traditional way. Extremely fine weaving, the piece is supple and light. The plant shades are very fresh, they have survived a century and a half without losing their freshness and brilliance. Very beautiful harmony, Circa 1880 Perfect condition! Dim: 130 x 108 cm Laurent Beauty of Kilims
