Splendid and important pair of friezes in carved wood, gilded with a central cartouche lacquered in green.
They can be placed above doors (overdoors), become headboards for double beds or simply enrich the upper part of your paintings (cymatiums).
The cymatiums are richly carved in openwork, laterally with leaf motifs and ribbons, under the central lacquered cartouche there is a beautiful garland.
If desired, you can paint your initials on the central cartouche.
Despite its large dimensions, I would like to point out that it is a single piece of carved wood.
The back has been lacquered in black and is complete with the original irons for hanging.
The state of conservation is good, it does not have woodworms.
