Large miniature on the lid finely hand-painted with a scene depicting a young lady intent on choosing the fabric of her future dress; miniatures on the base depicting landscape scenes also hand-painted. Interior decorated with floral motifs. Bears the two intertwined Ls underneath. Gilded bronze mount.
Perfect state of conservation, never restored.
