Silver brooch with pearls and miniature Austro-Hungarian Empire Vienna Ludwig Politzer
Brooch from the end of the 19th century with a miniature portrait of a woman in the style
of the 18th century, surrounded by gilded silver set with small pearls.
Austro-Hungarian hallmark of 750 thousandths of silver with the letter A for Vienna and
Hallmark LP in a cartouche with cut sides, most likely for Ludwig Politzer.
The pin at the back is in 18 carat gold, no hallmark, gold tested.
Good condition, fading of the gilding, the upper round part was re-soldered on the last circle
on one side and it came off again, the whole thing is held together thanks to the attachment
on the other side which is intact. The miniature has small wear and is blurred around the edge,
slight twisting of the pin at the back.
