"18th Century Wrought Iron Hearth Rack"
Wrought iron rack from the 13th century. Its originality lies in its double rack facing each other with an interior sliding end with a pallet which ensures its adjustment. It integrates into its decoration a plate cut out in the upper part (note a lack of material). As well as 2 side pieces added in the upper part in the shape of a spade and 2 small buttons at the bottom of the racks. The upper ring is articulated in a single axis. The whole is mounted by forged rivets (see the photos on the back) Its weight is 2.9 kg Its closed height is 102 cm. Open to the last notch, its deployed height is 156 cm
