Exceptional Solid Silver Flatware Set in the prestigious model called "LAETITIA" by ODIOT. Set composed of 6 Dinner Forks and 6 Dinner Spoons) , a total of 12 Pieces with a rich decoration originally ordered by Laetitia Bonaparte, mother of Napoleon I. We find all the symbols symbolizing wealth, seduction, return from Egypt and splendor of the Empire ... with among others the palmettes, fleurons, Golden Calf surmounted by crossed horns of plenty with mascaron surmounted by a Peacock, Swans with outstretched wings, all on an amati background.
Masterly hand crafted from the highest quality silver, each piece is punched with the Minerva 1st Standard Hallmark (.950) and the mark of Charles BOULENGER ( his name and a crescent moon) received in 1899, who associated with the Maison Odiot in 1906. This prestigious LAETITIA pattern flatware set is in excellent condition, also revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, and only micro-scratches from use to note.
