Grandson of Ker-Xavier Roussel and great-nephew of Edouard Vuillard. From 1945 he studied at the School of Decorative Arts. He exhibited in salons and biennials and showed his works in personal exhibitions in Paris and London. The Museums of Modern Art in New York, Paris and Philadelphia hold works. For the tercentenary of Molière, he illustrated a book for the Comédie Française.
