Large model of beautiful quality of chasing, Orpheus is represented in the features of a young man wearing a laurel crown and playing the lyre, among attributes symbolizing music: a pan flute, lyres, various instruments and a crown crossed by a flaming torch symbolizing the victory of the hero.
the base of the clock is decorated with a frieze reproducing the various elements described above as well as a frieze of palmettes at the base.
the body of the clock is decorated with a lyre surrounded by two swans and surmounted by two cornucopias.
