Set Of Four Louis XV Period Caned Armchairs, 18th Century

Important series of four Louis XV period armchairs.

These seats are of superb quality, they are made of beech wood and are very nicely carved and decorated with small flowers, burst pomegranates, acanthus leaves, etc.
They have been completely revised in the workshop and are very solid.
They have not been attacked by wood-eating insects but a preventive treatment has been carried out in the workshop.
The patina of the beech is superb with a beautiful blond walnut color.
The cushions have been redone, decorated with small cushions for the back in a modern mottled blue and white fabric.
The canes are old and in excellent condition.
They rest on beautiful, very finely carved Louis XV curved legs ending in shell feet.
The armrests, side rails, high and low rails are finely carved with flowers, leafy branches, shells and acanthus leaves. they are made with curves and forms.
the seat is wide and comfortable.
