"Officer's Dagger Of The Kriegsmarine. Third Reich. Model 1938."
KM dagger model 1938. Pommel called "eagle" (eagle with swastika with folded wings). White wooden handle covered with cellulose acetate, twisted filigree in gilded brass. Guard crest with cabled anchor, on the front and back. Etched blade: intertwined dolphins, cabled anchor, acanthus leaves, trident. Mark of the Eckorn workshop struck near the unlocking button (squirrel). Smooth brass scabbard engraved with thunderbolts and six vertical palms at its lower part with bracelets of oak leaf type bails. Silvered aluminum wire lanyard, tied according to regulations. With its two black fabric straps with brass buckles decorated with lion heads. 390 mm / 420 mm.
