Small Marquetry Games Table, 19th Century.
A small Louis XVI style gaming table from the 19th century, featuring a checkerboard and four beautifully inlaid playing cards. Two drawers flank a pull-out shelf covered in green morocco leather. In the lower section, a false bookcase decorated with real bindings conceals two doors leading to a storage compartment for token boxes. The interior is lined with an unsightly Alcantara that will need to be removed. The folding tabletop (68 x 90 cm when unfolded) has a green felt in good condition despite a small hole. The veneer is in generally good condition. There are a few minor losses. A bronze foot is missing (I've misplaced it, but I'm sure I'll find it).
