There are encounters that, in hindsight, seem obvious to you. This is the case with the work of Véronique Wirbel, who died tragically at barely 40 years old, teeming like a child’s imagination, colorful like the fabrics of Africa that she knew well having spent her childhood there and communicative of a joy that apparently, alas! she did not share…
Of course, we could find her kinship with Corneille, Basquiat or Aloïse, but she was Wirbel, quite simply.
This work comes from the studio of the Artist that we were lucky enough to be able to acquire and that we will gradually prepare and put up for sale. We are constantly searching for this artist's works.
