Beautiful pair of Empire style mahogany crossed banded pedestals , the top in blue Turquin marble.
A model by Jacob Desmalter & Cie, after a design by Charles Percier.
Each with a circular molded marble top, above a shaped frieze mounted with six-pointed giltwood stars, on 3 angular legs connected with diagonal X-shaped crosspieces, decorated with giltwood rocases.
