Pleasant seaside by Georges François (known as Géo - 1880 - 1968). As indicated on the back, this is the area around Marseille. This painting from the 1940s and 1950s, with its beautiful southern colors, is a postcard of a place that must have changed significantly. Beautiful original frame.
