Original pair of Art Deco bookends signed by Louis Prodhon (active in the early and mid-20th century), and working for the department stores on Boulevard Saint Honoré in Paris. They are composed of a rosewood-veneered wooden base and two blocks of granite glass with chip-cut sides. They are themselves held by two nickel-plated metal columns. All in perfect condition.
