Round brown tortoiseshell box from the Restoration period. It is decorated with a wooded and flowery landscape in the middle of which is a stele surmounted by a medallion numbered R evoking the departure of a loved one; above, on the branch of a tree, a bird has landed holding in its beak a ring symbolizing love and fidelity. Very beautiful, meticulous work of brown hair on a light background. D: 7cm H: 2.5cm Good condition.
