Pair of Louis XV period cabriolet armchairs stamped Falconet. In molded and fretted beech, the armrests are whip-shaped, they rest on arched legs. The whole is finely carved with heart-shaped cartouches, small foliage, flowers and acanthus leaves. Parisian work in very good condition, from the mid-18th century, stamped Falconet. Louis Falconet, received Master in 1743, son and successor of Pierre Falconet, retains the same stamp without a first name initial. Their seats being essentially in the Louis XV style, it is not possible to distinguish their maker. They produced very good seats, of harmonious proportions and design. Seat height: 45 cm
