"Portrait Of A Revolutionary Circa 1792-1794"
Interesting portrait of a revolutionary, probably a member of the convention, holding in his hand a question he has just written for the attention of this assembly. He is seated at his work table where a book and his inkwell are placed. The clothes and hairstyle are typical of the 1790s. It should be possible to identify the character by doing some research. The painting would benefit from cleaning and the resumption of small visible old restorations, but it remains in very good condition. It was previously relined. Dimensions: 62 X 46 cm
