Stool In The Style Of Hoffmann
Elegant rectangular stool with openwork armrests, in mahogany-stained bentwood, in the style of Josef Hoffmann (1870–1956), an emblematic figure of the Wiener Werkstätte movement. Clean lines, geometric structure and decorative sobriety perfectly embody the aesthetic of the early 20th century marked by a transition between Art Nouveau and the beginnings of Viennese modernism. Work from Central Europe, probably Austria or Germany, circa 1910-1920.
