Oil on canvas measuring 38cm x 55cm plus frame 67cm x 50cm Painting signed lower right P.SAÏN Paul SAÏN was born in Avignon in 1853 A pupil of Gérôme, he lived in a small village in the Orne for more than twenty years before returning to his native south He sent his paintings to the Salon from 1879 to 192 His works are featured in many French museums including the Louvre in Paris He died in Provence at the age of 55 in 1908 This painting was produced entirely in the Impressionist vein The brightness is remarkable and it is in very good condition Free shipping for the European Union
