"Large Dutch Armorial Market Platter, Circa 1735-1740"
A Large Armorial Dish. Decorated in the center with the arms of Bonne and De Haze within a finely drawn blue and white diaper border. The rim is decorated with well-painted floral sprays. Yongzheng-Qianlong, circa 1735-1740.

Diameter: 31.5 cm.

Condition: Excellent, light wear.

Commissioned by Leendert Bomme, a prominent Middelburg wine merchant, whose family were wealthy and involved in the West India Company and the Middelburgsche Commercie Compagnie in the 18th century.
