ITALIAN CERAMIC JUG ZACCAGNINI (FLORENCE), IN IMITATION OF HAMMERED BRONZE. TYPICAL CERAMIC OF THE DECÒ PERIOD, CIRCA 1930, SIGNED AT THE BASE. IT HAS TWO SMALL CHIPS AT THE BASE AND ONE ON THE HANDLE. Ugo Zaccagnini & Figli was a company producing majolica and ceramic objects founded in 1905 by Ugo Zaccagnini (1868-1937), a former plaster caster at Ginori in Doccia. In 1936 the factory was transformed into "Società Anonima Ceramiche Zaccagnini".
