Created on a cream-colored, crackled glazed slip background, it features form No. 1291, with a harmoniously proportioned, rounded body tapering into a short cobalt-blue neck and a ring-shaped base

He gained international renown primarily during his tenure as artistic director at the renowned Belgian ceramics manufacturer Boch Frères Keramis in La Louvière, where he worked from 1920 until the early 1940s
