Empire-style bronze bowl
This bowl features a tripod form and rests on three goat-shaped feet, topped with highly detailed ram heads at the rim and linked by garlands of flowers and laurels, anchored by central oval medallions surmounted by knotted ribbons
It was used as a table centerpiece and perfume burner, but could also be used as a pocket scoop, pot holder or planter
A clear patina is visible on the inside of the bowl. The lace and glass bowl were added later.
Although showing some patina, this piece is in very good vintage condition.
25 cm in diameter and 24 cm in height.
