Lovely little oak chest from Périgord, 18th century. Paneled front and sides. Original lock with its heart-shaped iron entrance. No key. The edge of the flap is ogee-shaped, decorated with a strip underneath to prevent rodents from getting in. Original salt chest inside. Some usual restorations.
