18th Century Solid Mahogany Wardrobe, Port Work
Solid Cuban mahogany wardrobe opening with two doors, the rounded and carved side uprights end with a small arched foot with a scroll. The rear uprights also rest on a arched foot with a scroll. The lower crossbar is cut and edged with a strong molding. The sides of the wardrobe have two panels, separated by a moving crossbar. The doors have a central panel in one piece. Molded upper crossbar with central medallion. The back of the cabinet, in solid oak with panels, molded on the edges. Original lock with bronze case and beautiful original key. The wardrobe is topped with its overhanging cornice. Furniture in good condition, finish revised. Dimensions of the body: 151 cm wide x 67 cm deep. Work from Nantes from the middle of the 18th century
