Louis XIV Style Sideboard
Beautiful sideboard in rosewood veneer and gilt bronze. It opens with two drawers and two doors on the front. Peach Blossom marble top. Laurel tori pull handles, doors without frame. Front and sides with heart-shaped frames and rosettes in spandrels. Ingot mold bases. Large uprights with pilasters, Roman busts and acanthus falls. Lower scalloped crosspieces with gilt bronze fillets, foliate mascaron on the front. Drawers, doors and sides in quatrefoil veneer. Rack and pinion lock. French polish.
