Beautiful composition of fresh flowers in a copper planter. Oil on cardboard from the early 20th century. It shows some wear on the edge of the frame. Signed lower right, CH. Lacour for Charles Lacour. Lacour was a student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. He worked with Vernay (François Miel) and Baudin and exhibited for a long time at the Salon du Printemps (SLBA) and the Salon d'Automne since 1886. A passionate and dedicated painter from Lyon, almost all of his work was devoted to the Lyon region. Dimensions of the oil on cardboard alone, 55 cm x 46 cm. With a modern frame in good condition, 66 cm x 57 cm.
