Amulet in the shape of a stylized heart, carved from a finely polished stone. The lower part has a rounded curve, framed by two incised lateral wings. The top is marked with a deeply engraved annular decoration, while the base takes on an ovoid shape. The whole, pierced transversely, is distinguished by the harmony of its lines and the balance of its volumes. Black veined agate, carved, polished and pierced. Slightly translucent. Slight chip on the upper part, good general condition of conservation. Egypt, New Kingdom, 1550–1070 BC. Dimensions: 2.4 x 1.5 cm. Provenance: Former Marie-Ange Ciolkowski collection, Paris, constituted in the 60s–70s.
