Pair of Large Medici Vases in Gilt and Patinated Bronze. Early 19th Century. On the flared patinated body: Rare decoration of chubby heads with butterfly wings (Cupid? Aeolus?), ribbons, vine branches. The handles with cut sides are decorated with ram's heads. Base in Vert de Mer marble in a gilt bronze mount. Friezes of palmettes, oves, and water leaves. Objects in used condition, simply dismantled and cleaned. Original gilding and patina, wear.
