Lovely corner cabinet in polychrome painted and lacquered wood, with a curved front, opening with two doors. It is entirely decorated with a dramatized court scene, in a neoclassical spirit, with characters in antique-inspired costumes and monumental architecture. The pediment is adorned with gilded palmettes on a black background, also repeated in the side frame. The deep red interior includes two shelves. The fittings and the lock are original.

French work from the end of the 19th or early 20th century, circa 1900 in the style of theater sets and historicist genre painting.
