NB: Luigi Rosi was an accomplished glyptician who worked at 86 piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps) in 1886 and 143 via Rasella, near the Quirinal Palace in 1887. This was the district of engravers and jewelers at that time.
One of his cameos representing Flora is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Milton Weil Collection, inv n° 40.20.51)
Another representing the head of Medusa was just sold on February 7, 2025 at Sotheby's.
