"Bernard Or Bernhard Bloch Smoker's Kit Pyrogenic Tobacco Pot Slush Hunter Hunting"
It is in very good condition, without any cracks or chips. This beautiful and rare smoking kit from the late 19th or early 20th century is composed of a tobacco jar and a match holder, with a scraper that acts as a pyrogen. It is signed with the monogram BB for Bernhard Bloch (1836-1909) and numbered 5567 (mold number). Bernhard (or Bernard) Bloch was one of the greatest Austro-Hungarian ceramists of the 19th century. These tobacco jars and smoking kits are collected and appreciated worldwide for their fine workmanship. I have only found one auction result for this unusual model (last photo). Height: 19.5 cm.
