Platinum Diamond Onyx Ring, Art Deco Period

This beautiful period ring is bezel-set with a 6mm old-cut diamond in a quadrangular black onyx with cut sides and softened edges. The shoulders are each set with a triangular calibrated onyx cabochon framed by lines of 7 brilliant-cut diamonds. The gallery is pierced with a geometric decoration. Platinum setting, dog head hallmark. An old-cut has erased the maker's mark. The main old-cut diamond has inclusions. Excellent condition, Art Deco period, France circa 1925.
