Superb small bronze from the 19th century representing Diana the Huntress by Alexandre Falguière (1831-1900) Presented on a marble base, the octagonal base, Diana is naked with outstretched arms. Great finesse of the face and quality chiseling, superb original patina. Entirely from the period, this bronze is of great elegance, the bow is missing. Signed on the base A. FALGUIÈRE and below the founder THIEBAUT FRÊRES FONDEUR PARIS.
