Very Large, And Well Framed Engraving Of A Lively Flamman Village Square View, 17th Century

Artist: ?
Rare very large and beautiful engraving on fine paper in a slightly bistre form representing a lively scene of a large village esplanade, Flemish school of the 17th century remarkable for its execution by its extraordinary size and its detail, an exceptional curiosity piece and in perfect condition framed with care with a pretty cream beveled margin, patinated gilded molded rod which suits it well. In the foreground on the right a scene rich in characters who are feasting under the awning of a cabaret, a woman is busy at the well by raising the bucket with the help of the balance perched on the fork of an old trunk, in front of others who are washing the laundry in an immense tub, while a man with his fishing rod on his shoulder indicates his destination with his finger a dog on point in front of him, in the center in the foreground a dog lying in front of its niche, women are busy drying the laundry spread out on meadows while others work in the fields, in the distance the beautiful silhouette of the gabled houses closes and draws the landscape, a beautiful rare work of this size and in this miraculous state, knowing how at this time in the mid-17th century one could achieve such a feat, but it is true that the Dutch mastered paper particularly well... A beautiful decoration for a unique piece and what is rare preserved... Price more than justified for a rarity taken from time
