This exceptionally large oval dish with antique decoration, from the Stone and Coquerel factory in Creil, dates from the period 1808 - 1818. Made of "fine earthenware" with a printed grisaille decoration, it bears the round patent mark as well as the hollow mark of the factory. Some usual scratches mainly on the back of the dish. Very good general condition for the rest of the dish. France, First Empire period.
