Empire walnut chest of drawers - Early 19th century.
Splendid walnut chest of drawers with four drawers, the first drawer disappearing under the band of small dimensions, enriched by a frieze in carved and ebonized wood.
Elegant ebonized ties on the side uprights, handles and escutcheons in chiseled bronze with a male effigy.
The front support feet are in the shape of an inverted cup with maple fillet.
The sides, being a single walnut board, have created small cracks over the years (visible in the photo), easily removed with putty.
Piedmontese furniture of great charm, also suitable for a modern environment.
