France, Paris, Louis-Philippe period, July Monarchy (1830-1848)
Good general condition, except for the inner stopper.
NB: Charming object of good quality in overlay and gold decoration. Ladies of quality, too tight in their corsets and dresses, wore these bottles as pendants or in their bags. They could then breathe these bottles filled with ammonia salts to avoid swooning in society.
