Large high-quality manufactory clock signed on the dial "CHles LEROY RUE DU TEMPLE N°115. Clockmaker referenced in the Tardy, the name and street number are identical to those in the dictionary, active during the period 1810-1830, Tardy dictionary of French clockmakers. Restoration period.

Architecture in patinated bronze, very finely chiseled bronze ornamentation, mercury gilding with gold. The facade is richly decorated with rosettes and a large chiseled frieze of swans framing a lyre. Large bronze dial very richly chiseled in the center of foliage and its surround with rich palmettes. At the top triumphs a splendid basin richly chiseled in high relief of acanthus leaves decorated with ram's heads as handles.
