Charming Black Forest carved wooden set, representing two bears carrying a crystal carafe and four matching small glasses.

Careful work of the sculpture, each detail of the bears' fur and expression is finely done, illustrating the know-how of Swiss or German craftsmen of the late 19th century. The bears, with a look that is both naive and realistic, seem to protect their precious beverage in an openwork tree trunk, transformed into a support for the carafe.

The crystal stopper is slightly damaged, but the set remains in a beautiful state of conservation.
