Today we present this charming ceramic plate that was developed by the "Grange aux potiers" on the animal theme. René and Madeleine de Valence workshop of the "Grange aux potiers", this workshop was created and installed in Beaurepaire in Isère in the 40s. In 1944 they settled in Saint Barthélemy neighboring village and in 1958 again moved, they settled near Valence rural commune of GERVANS, Drôme provençale. René died in 1963 in an accident and Madeleine continued the ceramic adventure for another 20 years until 1993. Our plate is in the spirit of what was done in this workshop in the 50s / 70s, the bestiary (horse, bull, poultry, cockfights ...). Very good condition. Weight 415 gr (E25)
