A rare Perpignan Garnets necklace set with Rose cut and marquise cut Garnets in 18ct Gold. The Garnets are a deep red.From the Empire period, dates from around late 18th c to early 19thc.
No hallmarks but tests as 18ct Gold. In good condition, one of the claws is damaged and the ribbon slides have been remade. Could easily be attached on a chain by a jeweller if preferred.

No hallmarks as to be expected for a piece this old.
