Empire-consulate Silver/gold/white Topaz And Natural Pearl Earrings

A pair of very old earrings, c1800, of exquisite beauty. They are made of silver, with foiled backs and enhanced with gold in a collet setting. Rare!

The upper part is adorned with a round Pearl/ Mother-of-pearl (Coque de Perles ?) surrounded by gold in a collet setting. The shoulders are adorned with four small drops with four small natural pearls. The lower part is in foiled back silver,  pear-shaped, set with rose-cut white Topazes,  with a pear shaped Pearl /Mother of Pearl in  the centre, surrounded by gold details.

These earrings are screw backs  and can easily be replaced by a jeweler to be suitable for pierced ears.
