Pair of Dragoon Stirrups – Old Monarchy, Late 17th - Early 18th Century.

Superb pair of cavalry stirrups known as “cage” stirrups, in wrought iron. Their six-branched design and openwork floors bear witness to the craftsmanship of the time. Each stirrup is mounted on a free-rotating half-spherical ring, characteristic of heavy cavalry military equipment.

Condition: Good general condition, with a beautiful patina and superficial oxidation consistent with age and use.

An authentic and rare piece, ideal for collectors of old weapons and military equipment.
