19th Century Barbedienne Double Patina Bronze Holy Water Font
Splendid holy water font, in bronze with double patina applied on a marble plaque. Under the receptacle an angel's head is beautifully chiseled. In its center, the representation of the Virgin Mary with the chair is represented in a medallion. We find two angel's heads overhanging this superb holy water font. The inscription Barbedienne is engraved on the right of the medallion. See photo.
