Discovery in Burgundy dating from the 1940s / 1950s, animated sculpture in wrought iron representing a farrier with hammer in hand, carefully shoeing the hooves of a horse, assisted by a colleague. A motor, which has now disappeared, powered the farrier's arm as he shoed his horse.
