Cast brass mount with a single guard branch forming the quillon, external earring engraved with an anchor. Handle covered in black leather and filigree, decorated with a brass wire filigree. Duc hallmark (official furnisher of the Imperial Guard) struck on the quillon. Curved blade of 71 cm engraved "Imperial Guard" accompanied by two anchors with cable and a surround of palmettes. Leather scabbard with brass trim, two bail rings. very good condition
