With teapot, coffee pot, sugar bowl and milk jug... In solid silver...
From the 1930s...
Tested with a Minerva 1st grade (i.e. 950/1000)... By the goldsmith CAMPENHOUT - PARIS...
In very good condition, just a small dent on the milk jug...
And some oxidation and stains due to time... Which a goldsmith could possibly correct... Besides, it has never been used...
The jugs have not been seasoned by the drink...! The insides of the sugar bowl and the milk jug are in vermeil...
The hinges are perfectly functional...
The three lids when closed are very airtight...
In the jugs there are filters, also in solid silver and which are removable...
The handles and the grips of the lids are in solid cut rosewood...
With also a beautiful curvature...
Even the holders of the handles are nicely drawn...
It is really of very good quality...
Quite heavy...
The goldsmith did not hesitate to use thick silver plates...
The line is simple, pure...
A perfect one for art deco...
