Yves Jumeau
Born in 1955 in Le Mans to a master glassmaker father, Yves Jumeau was introduced to the arts from a very young age, at the age of five, he made his first stained glass panels. During his studies he continued from time to time to collaborate with his father on the creation and restoration of stained glass windows. Yves Jumeau explores several areas of contemporary art. He creates sculptures, installations, events, but he also contributes to the lighting for art house cinema. A specialist in glass paste, his works use metal, bronze, plaster, fabrics, sound environment, X-rays.
